Forum 8: Mid-Semester Review

As we reach the midpoint of this class, it is helpful to reflect upon what we have learned, go back over some of our initial ideas, and finalize our plan for creating our Podcast Packages. For this week's Discussion Forum, please answer the following questions:

What is something you have learned about podcasting that you did not know or that is surprising to you?
What are some things you have noticed about the aesthetics of podcasting after learning more about how podcasts are made?
What are some things you have noticed about the business of podcasting after learning more about how podcasts are marketed?
How has your idea for your podcast developed or changed over the first half of this semester?
What are some new podcast series you have listened to that can influence your own ideas (these can be shows that have been assigned for class or other shows you have found recently)?

To receive full credit you should make a meaningful comment on at least two (2) of your classmates' posts. A meaningful comment is defined as 2-3 sentences that demonstrate clearly you have 1) read their original post in its entirety, and 2) you are responding to their thoughts and ideas in a clear and respectful way.
